Dr. Chrissy Chard is an Assistant Professor in the department of Health and Exercise Science, as well as with the Department of Community and Behavioral Health with the Colorado School of Public Health. Dr. Chard teaches courses including Applied Behavior Change Theory, Physical Activity in Public Health and Health Promotion Programming (Colorado School of Public Health, n.d.).
Public Health Insight had the pleasure of guest lecturing Master of Public Health (MPH) students using case-based teaching pedagogy on the principles of harm reduction. Following the lecture and an exit survey of students who attended the lecture, 94% of those who completed the survey indicated that they ‘agreed’ or ‘strongly agreed’ that lecture accomplished all learning objectives.
